Account & Booking Information
When you create an account or book a service on booking.thevedicpuja.in, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth (where required for muhurat or Kundali Matching), gotra (lineage), and sankalp (ritual intention). This information is essential to perform authentic Vedic rituals on your behalf.
Pandit & Partner Registration
Pandits and partners registering on our platform provide additional details including qualifications, areas of expertise, temple affiliations, bank account details for payment disbursement, and government-issued identity documents for verification purposes.
Hotel & Package Bookings
For hotel and pilgrimage package bookings through booking.thevedicpuja.in, we may collect travel dates, number of guests, identity proof details, and accommodation preferences to facilitate bookings with third-party hotel providers.
Astrology & Panchang Services
When using Horoscope, Panchang, or Kundali Matching services on thevedicpuja.in, we may collect your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth to generate your astrological profile.
Blog Interactions (blog.thevedicpuja.in)

Sankalp and Ritual Personalisation
Details such as your name, gotra, and intention (sankalp) are shared with the performing Pandit solely for the purpose of conducting the ritual correctly and in accordance with Vedic tradition.
Communications
We use your contact details to send booking confirmations, puja reminders, payment receipts, service updates, and support responses. With your consent, we may also send newsletters, festival announcements, and promotional content regarding new services.
Platform Improvement
Anonymised and aggregated usage data is analysed to understand how users interact with our platforms, identify technical issues, and improve overall user experience across thevedicpuja.in, blog.thevedicpuja.in, and booking.thevedicpuja.in.

If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records. Anonymised, non-identifiable data may be retained for analytical purposes.
Pandit Records
Pandit registration records are retained for the duration of the Pandit's engagement with The Vedic Puja and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law.
Right to Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Requests may be submitted to admin@thevedicpuja.in and will be fulfilled within 30 days.
Right to Correction
If any of the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction. You may update most details directly from your account profile on booking.thevedicpuja.in.
Right to Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations. Please note that deletion of account data may affect our ability to provide services to you.
